Position Overview

Foot, Ankle & Leg Vein Center is seeking a skilled, professional, and compassionate Medical Pedicurist / Nail Care Specialist to join our established program.

The ideal candidate is passionate about foot health, nail care, and providing an exceptional patient experience. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional medical environment alongside podiatrists, providing specialized pedicure services that combine the comfort of a spa experience with the cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail of a medical office.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform medical-style pedicures focused on nail care, skin health, hygiene, and overall foot appearance.
• Provide professional nail trimming, shaping, filing, cuticle care, and gentle exfoliation within the scope of licensure.
• Deliver specialized cosmetic foot care for patients with sensitive feet, aging skin, and other foot care concerns, as medically appropriate.
• Provide relaxing, high-quality foot care services with an emphasis on patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Recognize potential foot and nail concerns and refer patients to the podiatrist for medical evaluation.
• Maintain strict sanitation, disinfection, sterilization, and infection-control standards.
• Educate patients on proper foot hygiene, skin care, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment.
• Document services, assist with scheduling, and maintain professional patient relationships.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to provide a coordinated patient experience.
• Recommend appropriate foot care products and maintenance services.

Qualifications

• Current Florida nail specialist or cosmetology license required.
• Experience providing professional pedicure and nail care services.
• Experience with medical pedicures, advanced foot care, or podiatry preferred.
• Knowledge of nail anatomy, common nail conditions, foot care, and sanitation protocols.
• Ability to recognize when a patient requires evaluation by a medical provider.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Comfortable working in a clinical environment and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
• Willingness to learn specialized foot care techniques and participate in additional training.
