Position: Backend .NET Developer with AI bent of Development Approach

Location: Westchester, IL

Duration: 6 Months

looking for candidate with Kafka experience. Candidate with Kafka will have an edge

High level JD:

• Need someone who has hands on experience in Leveraging AI-assisted development tools including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and AI-enabled IDEs to accelerate C#/.NET development, refactoring, debugging, unit-test generation, code reviews, and technical documentation across the application lifecycle.
• Someone who Leveraged AI-assisted development tools and IDEs and Applied prompt engineering techniques to create effective prompts for code generation, debugging, test creation, documentation, code analysis, and developer productivity workflows
• 5–8+ years of experience in .NET development with experience in Azure & event driven architecture using Kafka.
• Strong experience with C#, MVC.NET, .Net Core, Web API, jQuery , Type Script
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and integrations
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL Server & Entity Framework
• Experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, API Management).
• Experience with Service Bus (must have)
• Experience with Kafka is highly preferred
• Experience with event-driven systems and message queues.
• Experience with building and managing secure, scalable integrations between cloud and on-prem systems.
• Strong analytical skills & able to monitor and troubleshoot applications using Application logs, Application Insights etc.
• Good Team player & able to work independently
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) (Nice to have)

Required Qualifications

• 7–8+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API .
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and integrations .
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and microservices architecture .
• Proficiency in SQL Server and database design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management).
• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with event-driven systems and message queues.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform) .
• Certifications such as:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
